Save Without Links

Quickly save a copy of the file where all links to external resources are broken.

The Save Without Links feature allows you to create a copy of the current file with all external links removed. This is particularly useful when you need to share a copy of the file with someone else, but do not want to share the links or references to external sources, or when you want to maintain a snapshot of the file without the risk of losing data due to external changes.

When this feature is used, all external links in the copied file are converted to constants, which means that the data that was originally retrieved from the external source is replaced with its current value. You also have the option to only export some of the worksheets to the copied file.

Any links to worksheets not included in the copied file will also be converted to their current values. This ensures that the data remains the same regardless of changes in the external source. The resulting copy can be saved with a new name and location, and can be shared or stored as needed.
